Sore Throat

Symptoms of pharyngitis, also known as sore throat, include a scratchy or painful throat. It's often difficult to swallow because of this. Swelling between the tonsils and the voice box in the back of the throat (pharynx) is what causes it (larynx).
Colds, flu, coxsackie virus, and mononucleosis are the most common causes of sore throats (mononucleosis). During the colder months, the majority of pharyngitis cases occur. Family members and intimate connections are frequently affected by the sickness.
